The Bergen conference also created a ‘think-tank’ for developing future treatment methods and targets from the best available knowledge. Based on feedback from both attendees and presenters, we are satisfied that the conference successfully met its objectives and was enjoyed by all who participated. Six years have passed since our first meeting, where newly developed treatment programs were introduced and critically appraised. It is now time to consider the lessons learned from these programs, and to bring in broader perspectives on issues related to making interventions work for patients and prisoners with psychopathic traits.

We cordially invite you to attend our meeting and to share these experiences and your own in order that we might together develop better ways of working with people with psychopathy.
